We're pleased to offer the following services at Bay Creek Animal Clinic:
Our appointment book is computerized which allows us to efficiently make appointments for you and your pet. Our receptionists and team will attempt to accommodate all requests to the best of our ability. Emergencies are accepted anytime our clinic is open. If you feel you have an emergency with your pet, please call us or come to the hospital immediately. If possible it is best to call before coming in so that a staff member can advise you on your particular emergency.
We have a veterinarian and personnel on duty 6 days a week who are trained and equipped to handle any urgent care your pet has. Usually an emergency team consists of at least one veterinarian and several technicians working together to save a pet's life. Emergencies can be things such as snail bait poisoning, hit by car, and chocolate ingestion. If you ever feel that your pet needs emergency treatment do not hesitate to call or come in immediately. If possible it is best to call before coming in so that a team member can advise you on your particular emergency.
We are also available for urgent care when the condition is not life-threatening. If you feel your pet needs to be seen before you are able to get an appointment, our veterinarians will work to "squeeze" you in between scheduled appointments. When you arrive, our receptionists will be able to give you an estimate on how long you may have to wait in order to be seen.
Better for your pet....Easier on you
Bay Creek Animal Clinic is one of the first clinics in the area to provide laser surgery for your pet.
Traditional surgery with scalpel or scissors can bruise or cut tissue. By using the laser, only an intense beam of light touches your pet, which minimizes the pain, swelling and bleeding often associated with surgery. Less trauma for your pet.
Bay Creek Animal Clinic is committed to good oral hygiene for your pet. Halitosis (bad breath) is a problem many pet owner's are all too familiar with. What some pet owner's do not realize is that bad breath is often an indication that much more may be going on within their pet's mouth. Untreated tooth and gum disease may lead to bacteria entering the bloodstream damaging the heart, kidneys and other vital organs. Our goal is to keep your pet's teeth healthy.
February is National Pet Dental Health Month. Please contact Bay Creek Animal Clinic for information on discounts through out the year.
Spay & Neuter
Bay Creek Animal Clinic urges all pet owners to have their pet spayed or neutered. This procedure helps protect your pet from issues down the road, such as: unwanted litters, heat cycles, desire to roam, inappropriate marking, tumors associated with pets who have not been spayed or neutered.
Digital x-rays are another important diagnostic tool that allow the doctors at Bay Creek Animal Clinic a view of what may be going on inside your pet. An added bonus to digital x-rays is the speed in which the images can be obtained which allows the client to view the x-rays on computer screens in the exams rooms in a matter of minutes. All x-rays will be emailed for a radio graph consult by a specialty veterinarian.
Because a large number of veterinarians practice at Bay Creek Animal Clinic, we can care for many types of pets:
